How to capture a live face swap in OBS Studio
Put the transformed browser output in an OBS scene without capturing your whole desktop.

Choose the browser window, not the webcam
Open the webcam workspace in its own window. In OBS, create a scene and add the browser window as a source. You can frame the example before starting a paid session. Adding your physical webcam as a Video Capture Device would show the original face instead.
- Windows: add Window Capture, then select the browser window.
- macOS 13 or later: add macOS Screen Capture, choose the window capture method and select that same window.
Frame just the AI output
In the source's transform settings, crop the top, bottom and sides until the output fills the frame. Keep the camera input, reference picker and account controls outside the crop. Lock the source when you're happy with the shot. If you resize the browser afterward, check the crop again.
Check the audience's view and sound
Select your microphone in OBS. Start a live swap, smile or turn slightly, and make a short local test recording in OBS before you broadcast. Play it back: you should see the transformed face and hear your voice once. If you see the demo, check the AI output in the browser first; if you see the raw face, check which source is visible in the scene. Stop the live session when rehearsal ends.
Only need a short downloadable clip? Record in the browser instead.
